Music for Peace

One day, a student played a nice tune to his music teacher. The teacher asked what the song was. "It's mine", the boy answered, "…and it's about a world where people always smile, don't use naughty words and don't hit or push each other". The teacher thought that something must be done about this and that is how the idea of "Music for Peace" was born.

Music for Peace

  • The main aim of Music for Peace is to organize concerts and events around the globe, on one day of the year.
  • The money raised on that day must go to a charity trust supporting this event. As such Music for Peace needs all possible help from all musicians and friends of music, music students and their parents around the world.

  • Various Committees must be organized for this to work. For example, committees of teachers, students, orchestra players, parents, friends of music. A special data-base must be created to make the communication and coordination between participating parties possible.

  • Music for Peace hopes that many professional people in other areas (computing, administration and finance) can commit themselves to these ideas and volunteer some time and effort.
